Our Mission at Hill Country is to TEACH the ways of joy in Jesus!
Jesus told His followers to TEACH others to follow all that He commanded them.
Jesus said... go into all the world... and teach them to obey all I commanded you
(Matthew 28:18-20)
We believe that the teachings of Jesus (living them out) are the way to true joy, joy in Jesus, joy in the journey!
Jesus said, "These things I have spoken to you that my JOY many be in you, and that your JOY may be full.
(John 15:11)
THREE WAYS WE TEACH AT HILL COUNTRY
First, of course, every week the sermon is focused on sharing and explaining and applying the Bible to everyday life
And each week small groups meet in homes, at church, or online
In addition all are invited to join Hill Country University! Each week we use a variety of online Christian education sources to teach such topics as: Old and New Testament survey; Bible book studies; Theology topics; Church History; and more
