I had the privilege of growing up in Paraguay, South America as my parents were missionaries with indigenous people there (New Tribes Mission – now Ethnos 360). As a teenager, I had the privilege of running a store, and then later teaching school. Several of the indigenous people were friends of mine growing up.

I came to San Diego to attend Christian Heritage College (now San Diego Christian College) and met my wife while involved in ministry at “Scott West” (now Grace Church of San Diego). Monica and I have 4 adult children and several grandchildren (the numbers are growing!). While we call San Diego home (Santee actually!), we have had the privilege of being involved in missions as well as pastoral ministry for several decades.

We are grateful to be using our gifts and serving at Hill Country Church.
