Hill Country Church is an ‘elder run’ church. This means that the senior pastor works closely with the elders, and is also on the elder board. The elders as a body provide the final say on matters of policy and governance. We believe that this is a model clearly seen in the New Testament Church (Acts 13.1-3; 14.23; Titus 1.5). It is our desire to have a plurality of godly elders who participate in the overall shepherding of the congregation.
